Academic Reflection
Only after peering over the cliff's edge does the mountaineer realize how high he has climbed. Toeing the precipice of graduation, I understand now how much I have changed and grown as a result four years studying. My writing, skill as a scholar and ability to think critically has all increased during my time at Alma College.
The following pages trace the past four years and examine this process, including some of the struggles I had to overcome. From the before matriculating I had already decided upon my course, and although I encountered many surprises, my desire never faltered. An intense immersion into the English curriculum at the College has given me a special perspective on its modus operandi, and I have included my thoughts on future changes. With hope this analysis will prove worthwhile.
